~ Guest Cantorial

Judaism is a life journey. Through music, I continually search for the center of my spiritual tootsie pop — always exploring, questioning and singing! Through my original songs and diverse repertoire, my goal is to create an exciting and thought provoking spiritual experience.

As Cantor for Hevrat Shalom Congregation in Rockville, Maryland and The Residence at Thomas Circle in Washington, DC, I like to bring my joie de vivre to congregants for Services and special events such as Chanukah Celebrations, Purim Shpiels, Seders, Yom Ha’atz Ma-ut, TuB'shevat, TuB’Av, Yom haShoah, fundraisers and so much more. Through music, I want to bring each congregant into the moment, their place, hamakom, to help them on their journey to where they need to be.

I have been honored to have been a guest Cantorial Soloist at many Congregations for Shabbat, Havdallah, holidays and special events. And with my band Lox & Vodka, I have made a joyous sound with klezmer, Jewish and dance music at concerts and private events. My passion is strong. My style is heartfelt, soulful, energetic, participatory and filled with ruach(spirit). It would be my honor and delight to share my journey with you.

Solo, duos or with an ensemble:

  • Ruach enriched community seders
  • Unique and fun Purim shpiels
  • Festive Simchat Torah celebration
  • Spirit filled and participatory concerts
  • Kabbalat Shabbat
  • Congregational Havdallah
  • Services and discussion
TESTIMONIALS
Caron brings warmth, ruach and joy to her services. Her singing is so beautiful that I want to sit back and be carried to new depths of my soul. However, the way she engages participation carries me to even deeper places in my heart and in my soul. She is a leader who engages adults and children. A service led by Caron is what Shabbat was created to do, give a taste of Olam Ha-Bah in Olam Ha-zeh.

Caron Dale is among the most dynamic and entertaining Cantorial Soloists I have worked with. She brings the beauty of Jewish tradition and music, enhancing religious services through congregational involvement while creating a spiritual aura which is very refreshing.
